Privacy notice
What this website does and does not process.
This website does not store contact enquiries in its own database. If you submit the form, your details are sent through EmailJS so the enquiry can be handled. Hosting providers and third parties may also process technical connection data.
Controller
The controller is the operator of RTU. The contact form is currently the only available way to get in touch.
No first-party storage of contact enquiries
The site code contains no first-party user database and no analytics or advertising tracker. Information is processed only if you enter it in the contact form and submit it. It is used to handle your enquiry and contact you, and is not stored in a website database operated by the site owner.
Your light or dark theme choice is stored locally in your browser under rtu-theme. This preference is not sent to the site owner.
Contact form and EmailJS
When you submit the contact form, the information you enter — name, email address, business, project type and message — is processed by EmailJS to deliver your message by email. The site uses EmailJS directly in the browser; this project has no separate form server.
EmailJS's privacy policy says it processes usage and request metadata, records event data in its dashboard, and temporarily processes data for abuse prevention. EmailJS states that data for active accounts is retained for 30 days and notes possible transfers to the United States. The exact retention and configuration of the account used here must be checked in its EmailJS dashboard. More information: EmailJS privacy policy ↗.
Please do not submit special categories of personal data through the form. A message may also be delivered by email and stored according to the recipient account's settings.
Hosting and technical logs
The site is served through Cloudflare. The hosting provider processes connection data needed to deliver the site. Whether additional Worker logs are enabled for this particular deployment and how long they are retained still needs to be checked; this notice therefore does not claim that no log data is produced. Fonts
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google servers, which may receive technical connection data such as your IP address. The fonts are not currently hosted locally with the site.
Your rights
Depending on applicable data protection law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict processing of your personal data, request portability, object to processing, and complain to a data protection authority. To make a request, please use the contact form.
